Southwest Organizing Project

SWOP Media

At SWOP's center is the belief that people have the right to speak for themselves, rather than have their perspectives and life experiences filtered through the lens of others for the consumption of the outside world.

For this reason, we've created a magazine called Voces Unidas; a blog called SWOPblogger; various social media sites; and the creation of a small but growing studio for making short films and podcasts. Our intent is to provide our communities with platforms, training, and resources to formulate their ideas and present them to each other and to the world.

Keep up with us on our blog, SWOPblogger.

You can find us on Facebook, Twitter, Flickr or our youth group on Myspace.

Check out our SWOP youtube channel and our Health Care Reform youtube channel.
